Hisashiburi yo ! quite a while don't we ? I'd been holiday-ing for a week, with too many activities, I wish I could type them all, but each day of my holiday was awesome, so, I'm lazy enough to write them all, plus, Dr Kamal might read it, oppss, just kidding ;)

okay, first thing first, like always, for the class Introduction to Electonic System, we will have an outsider to give lecture to us, and our speaker made a fantastic presentation. He is energetic enough to raise our enthusiastic to keep listening to his spectacular speech.

before the lecture started

Dr Kamal told us about the presentation, which is going to hold 15 marks for us, whereby most students already got 70 marks, so, don't get panic ok guys :)

then, he do asked some of us about what the differences between MJIIT and the other faculties

well, random names are picked on the attendance list

Zulhafizan turn out to be the lucky one, well, he have to answer Dr Kamal question, although it took awhile, but this is what he answer

and there is another person who was picked from the list, and he is Asyraf, he could answer the question in a short time, with a clear words

We got Personal Advisor where the other University might not have. and any information is spread with a better ways. At the same time, it's comfortable for us to share our knowledge here as we will face the same face face to face every day

Afterward, Dr Kamal told us that Japan is actually dropping right now and Korean is raising, the thing that make Korean getting famous nowadays is about their art of dancing.

he even made a joke with it like... yeah, we will feel fun and can learn happily after knowing what is electronics actually, haha XD

well, obviously, electronics can be seen anywhere on earth, unless you're in grave, you won't see it, hak2

okay2, lets get thing seriously now. This is it, when you're driving to some places, you are driving a car, which contain parts of electronic devices, when you're reading under a great ventilation system with help of aircondition. it's electronics device. When you're walking back home, with some street lamps enlighten your path, the one that keep your journey away from the dark is electronic. So, you can't run away from electronic thingy in this world.

So, what he tried to emphasize is electronic is fundemental to our daily life and also, he said that every advancement in technology is relying on electronic, which is us, the core which playing the key role. Electronic will keep updating from the previous state to the suitable level for current society. from big phone to small, and now it's getting 'smart' like smart phone. clearly, it will be a mainstream in future development.

now, lets take a look on progression of electronic systems

referring to what I wrote above, from a super big phone to hand phone and now smart phone ...

Electronic is vital to current information and technology as it can penetrated seamlessly through various industries. The gap between each field has been blurred cause they used to work each other. People need to capable in multi field if they wanted to success. Moreover, most industries today are heavily dependent on Electronics.

Generally, Electronic System is classified into 5 field which are

Consumer

Industrial

Defence

Communications

Information Processing Systems

There are few others which classified as individual, they are

Medical

Imaging

Transportation

Power Utilities

however, like I mentioned above, the gap between these fields had been blurred due to relation between themselves. let me go through deeper in these field :)

CONSUMER ELECTRONICS

Consumer Electronic is

- devices which invented to be used daily.

- enhances the live for consumer (user).

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS

Industrial Electronics is

- manufacturing  products required by modern industry.

- process controlled equipment, robotic equipment for test and measurement.

Defence Electronics is

- Strategic, creates spin-off electronics for other segments

- Pushed the growth of Material Science Technology

Communications Electronics is the specialized field concerned with the use of electronic devices and systems for the acquisition or acceptance, processing, storage, display, analysis, protection, disposition, and transfer of information.

*it is benefited from the rapid growth of optical fibre technology and semi conductor laser.

INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEMS

Information Processing System, as its name suggests, is a system which takes information in one form and processes (transforms) it into another form, e.g. to statistics, by an algorithmic process.

well, he did cover this part a lot, i mean A LOT ... quite useful and more importantly, Im attracted to this field along with his speech.

Imaging industry cover a lot types of field, and Mr Vivek had to study over 5 years to get into each field, and he said that, we are lucky enough to have him describing all these thing within 15 minutes (well, guess he is predicting the wrong period) :p
