Assalamualaikum guys,
We meet again in another Reflective Journal session, and this is the 4th session. Okay guys, for this week, we had a special lecture conducted by Dr Hazran, who just arrive from Japan for 3 months. He joined a research about Medical and Biotech in Japan.
Okay, 1st of all, I came to the class and due to it almost 9am, the class is almost full, I have to sit at the back. My point is, I can't see what is on projector actually. I expected a good explanation from Dr Azran Azhim then.
I was sitting at the back -___-
I was sitting at the back -___-
Well he started his speech by introducing himself, telling us what is Bioelectronic, the course that I wanted to enrol before then. Well, he said that bioelectronics is a field that is worth to be joined since there are many things haven't been discovered yet.He told us that he worked in Japan for 5 years ( I was whoa-ing because it is the only country I wanted to go soo much )
right after briefing about himself and his researching field, he started to show us what is inside his slide. He mentioned many things and some of it are quite familiar to me. I learnt it before and could understand what he tried to explain (while the others were complaining they don't understand the lecture
Firstly, he told us basic components and some simple stuff about electronics, it was like the first time I started to learn electronic, my teacher describing all components, then he went through some formulaes as a basic calculation.
then, we proceed on series and parallel circuit, these are the very fundamental part in electronics
( I wonder if there is anyone here couldn't catch up with these things ... )
yeap, really fundamental right ? even highschooler can understand this things, then, Dr Azran mentioned about voltage divider
this is an example of circuit which we can apply voltage divider
these are applicable formula for the solution of this circuit
after describing briefly about the voltage divider, he wen through even deeper which is about filter in RC circuit. RC circuit involve these :-
- low-pass filter
- high pass filter
The function off low pass filter is working like a filter, I put in from my understanding, it simply allow the low frequency signal to go through and reduce the higher frequency. Simple enough right ?
this is the circuit which apply filtering effect
low pass filter circuit
high pass filter circuit
well, I learnt these stuff during matriculation, so, it won't be a big problem for me to understand. okay, after this, things has turn out to be more complicated but I got the rhythm, and Im too into this thing, quite interesting and it itself is awesome, we're exposed to Doppler Effect
rafi rook my picture when I was asking Dr few questions
this is the question I asked him
rafi rook my picture when I was asking Dr few questions
this is the question I asked him
well, what is Doppler Effect huh ? well, in a simple word, it just a change in frequency of wave when observer and source is moving
lets say that you are moving towards the sound, you will hear that the frequency of sound is raising and if you move away from the source, the frequency is reducing.
what is the relation between this sound stuff and bioelectronic ? haha, its quite complicated to explain it though, but let me tell you something, do you how do they take your blood pressure ? I'll show you a short video about using doppler device to take a blood pressure, but it was used for a pet :p
so, how was it ? simple and informative right ?
and I will show you how a simple animation about doppler effect theory
This is the best example to show Doppler Effect
This is how the waves are working
Simple and understandable (for me, haha)
the theory is simply said that the waves will follow the movement of the source, if you are walking ahead while saying "aaaaaaaaaaaaa", your voice will follow it too, it will produce a shorter wavelength due to previous voice at the back and your current voice which is spoken at in front.
okay, then, we are going even confusing, we were learning about some Biology stuff, I was exposed too much into DNA stuff, though it is interesting, but it is complicated ... well, the DNA is stand for
DeoxyriboNucleic Acid
don't ask me what is it, I afraid I will tell the wrong fact about it. but yeap, that's it, he was talking bout this for the remaining time left, it is about ... half an hour I guess. He also showed us a funny but informative video, have a view :)
well, I love the fact that our dna is almost the same as chipanzees ... shesss -___-
oh my goddddddd - chipanzee
oh my goddddddd - chipanzee
but yes, Dr Azran told us about even we human being, there is only 0.1% different dna ... errr ... yea, I mean the stuff inside the dna :3 and he also told us if we extract the super tiny dna inside ourselves, the length could reach Moon from Earth, fantastic right ?
okay guys, I guess that's all from ...
wait, Dr Azran ended his lecture and we still got a little time to be spent with our blogger marker, haha, Dr Kamal (waving my hand) :3
Okay, Dr Kamal came and the first thing he said was ...
"I don't want to take your time too long"
hahaha, I guess he knew what we were thinking. We have to revise math due to math test afterwards, but yea, he made his speech simple and cool, he told us about the journal, I mean, our mark for the 1st half. He paste it on the board at level 3. Alhamdulillah, I got 77 out of 80 (aminn)
then, he told us something bout the other 20 marks, how can we get another 20 marks ? well, we have to make a presentation, the previous student they have to work on powerpoint, which I prefer the most when doing a presentation, but then, he told us that we won't be using powerpoint for this year, I was like ...
"WHATTTT ?"
wait, why don't we use powerpoint ?
"We want you to present your research by using poster"
.
.
.
.
"WHATTTT ?"
hahaha, awesome, okay, I never thought it will be a poster, well, this is another place for me to expose my creativity in artworking, well, poster isn't bad, and I agree with him, well, lets do it by postering :3
Dr Kamal has divided the group member according to each of our personal advisor(PA). Well, as for my group, we are in the special case, I wonder how Wani can joined us even she is under different PA, but we 3 knew each other well, so, it won't be a problem, wait who I mean by we 3 ? I didn't tell you yet ? oh my god, forgive me, this is it
ZUREEN AZRA BINTI AZHARI
HAFIZUL ASYRAF BIN AHMAD
SYAZWANI BINTI ABDUL MANAF
well, Im looking forward for their great cooperation, they are sporting afterall ;)
Next, Dr Kamal show us about the benchmark and how can we grab all marks during the presentation
it base on these :-
Quality
Content
Organization
Attractiveness
Main Idea
well, we have the list what we have to do and be aware for what we mustn't put. Stay tight to the rule and make a great presentation, Good Luck feezul (hahah, wishing to myself ? how upset it is) >.<
after that, Dr Kamal ended his speech and we were scattered away.
Time to study math :3
okay, that's all for this entry, thanks for reading, ja na ;)

Assalamualaikum and hissashiburi yo ! ( long time no see )
dear fellow reader, like always, we've to report what we had done in our class yesterday :)
Okay, for the class Introduction to Electronic Circuit yesterday, we are having a test, and great, before the test started, En Redzuan show us the previous mark for MultiSim test, and Alhamdulillah (praise to Allah), I manage to get full mark for it while the other, mostly range 45-49, n few even worst. So, I expect nothing better than Ultiboard test which we were going to use yesterday.
Firstly, we were told to use our previous circuit for this test, which is
forgot to change the LED to Real
or maybe this
these are previous circuit we had done, but I guess, the second circuit weren't told to be build officially in class. Syahir and me did it without instructions from En Redzuan.
but right after that, he gave us new circuit to be constructed. well, we have no choice but to start from zero, this is what I made, trying to be orderly as much as possible :)
so, this is it, then, we have to transfer the circuit to ultiboard, the steps are as follows :-
go to menu bar, click on transfer > transfer to ultiboard > transfer to ultiboard 11.0
as for mine is version 11.0
Once we have execute the transfer process, multisim will ask us where to save the ultiboard file, and all the REAL component we had in our circuit will be exported to ultiboard
this is the exported components window
okay, the progression is going well so far, I manage to do this within 15 minutes if Im not mistaken, the only thing that took me awhile is ... where is IC ? been searching for 3-5 minutes for it -____-
okay, some of you might face the same problem, so, let me tell you where is this IC hiding.
firstly, go to menu bar > place > components
(or simply click Ctrl + W)
change Database to Master Database
change Group to Mixed
Then, you can either choose Select all families or Timer, followed by type this at the namebox
' LM555CN'
oh yeah, I was told that the last letter at the IC indicate the type for this IC, like mine, Im using 'N' which mean true hold, and there's another 1 which is 'M', that is SMD IC.

oh yeah, I was told that the last letter at the IC indicate the type for this IC, like mine, Im using 'N' which mean true hold, and there's another 1 which is 'M', that is SMD IC.
now, simply press OK then u will get your IC :)
- Return to Ultiboard -
- Return to Ultiboard -
Now we have entered the Ultiboard progression, first of all, you will find out all your's components will be arranged orderly in a straight line like this
Okay, once I get these stuff, first thing I did was design the board layout, well, square isn't nice enough to attract others. and this shape is too common, people get bored by watching this again and again, so, I decided to use this shape
weird shape doesn't it -___-"
okay, this is the steps on how I changed my circuit board
firstly,
change the selected layer to Board Outline (default is Copper Top)
huuuuuu ~
weird shape doesn't it -___-"
okay, this is the steps on how I changed my circuit board
firstly,
change the selected layer to Board Outline (default is Copper Top)
then, simply right click and choose any shape you wanted to use for your design,
Remember that layer type play the important role here cause you won't be able to design the board unless you selected the board outline layer. This is also apply to other parts, as example :-
- If we want to change or move thewire at the top, we have to select Copper Top, same goes to bottom
- If we want to change or move the components at the bottom, we have to select Silkscreen bottom
Urm, this entry isn't for tutorial actually, but I would like to share my experience, that's all, after finish the arrangement of my components, I clicked at autoroute so the program will trace which is the best route to connect the wire to each component.
This is how I arranged my components
Result of autorouting, and I enlarged the width of wire :)
so, lets take a look on it's 3D view
haaaaaaa ~
hiiiiiiiiii ~
haha, I manage to finish it within 45 minutes, but, I decided not to submit earlier as there might be some mistakes I ddin't notice at the first place, so, keep changing the shape of board, arrangement of components and the others till only few minutes left, sadly, I forgot to save the previous design which I planned to submit, wait, I saved it, but I couldn't find where it was, so, I have no choice but to submit my latest design, but it's incomplete ... sighing, guess my mark is going to be deducted, due to submit it too late and my design is incomplete -___-
but people said, learn from mistakes, so, I swear I won't delaying again, save what I done, submit and well, have my leisure time somewhere ~
Okay, that's all for yesterday class
hopefully we would be able to meet on next entry, thanks for reading all :)

Assalamualaikum,
okay, post kali pasal tutorial fizik sikit, ade la junior feezul tu mintak feezul ajarkan, haha, sampai pinjam-pinjam scanner feezul dibuat, tapi tak pe lah, bukannye susah pun,
okay, mula-mula pasal chapter1 ni tak banyak pun kn, conversion unit n vector siket, pasal vector feezul da penah upload kat post sebelum ni, bole la rujuk post feezul yang lepas
dah2, jangan sembang banyak feezul, kita start ngan
CONVERSION UNIT

okay, masuk la sudah kita dekat KINEMATIC of LINEAR MOTION
soo, lets go :)
ok, jelasnya ... memang tak lengkap, tapi korang boleh je roger-roger feezul mana-mana part yang korang tak faham, PM la feezul kat facebook feezul :)
sekian saje post kali, hehe
